Kansas Fire and Rescue

Kansas Fire and Rescue Kansas Community Volunteer Fire Department is an all volunteer organization owned entirely by the membership of KCVFD.

Kansas Fire proudly serves Jackson and Liberty Townships of Seneca County as well as Scott and Jackson Townships of Sandusky County in Northwest Ohio, including the villages of Kansas, Amsden and Lakota Local School. We serve alongside the neighboring departments of Bascom, Bettsville, Helena, Risingsun and Fostoria.

Pump testing today at Kansas Fire Station 2. 8 trucks pump tested today. Bettsville Fire, Bradner Fire, Wayne Fire and Kansas Fire. Thanks to Atlantic Emergency Solutions for testing all the trucks today.

The Emergency alert Siren (Severe Weather/Tornado Siren has been repaired. Please advise us if it doesn’t work on the test days which is the first Saturday of the month. This week it will be tested on July 11 do to the July 4th Holiday.
