Today was a BIG day for Karnes City as we officially celebrated the ribbon cutting of our brand new pickleball courts! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate, hit a few balls, cheer each other on, and help make this day so special!

This new addition is more than just a couple of courts, it’s another investment in our parks, our community, and creating a place where families, friends, and neighbors can come together, get active, and HAVE FUN!

We’re especially proud of the collaboration that made this project possible and excited to see these courts filled with laughter, friendly competition, and fun!

Pickleball Courts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

Come out tomorrow, August 11th at 10:00AM as we celebrate the ribbon cutting of our brand new pickleball courts!

This project is a wonderful collaboration with our 4B Board, and we’re excited to see this new addition bring even more fun, activity, and community to our park.

Applications may be printed online, but must be submitted in person at City Hall.

The first Golf Cart/ROV/ATV permit has officially been issued in Karnes City!

We know there have been lots of questions, and we’re here to help make the process as simple as possible. Here are a few of the most common ones we’ve received:

• Yes, you must have insurance on your golf cart, ROV, or ATV. This is separate from your regular vehicle insurance.
• Driving these vehicles on city streets without meeting the ordinance requirements is not legal. The new permit process allows them to be operated legally while following important safety measures.
• Before applying for your City permit, you’ll first need to obtain a license plate through the County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office.
