📌 “Sh*t-Hill” - the red star marks the spot. Located near Lake Washington, in Southern Minnesota; where the Baker dairy cattle once pastured.

This area is private property marked land and has never been developed, even though it boasts the most beautiful views of what locals call “The Slough” (wetland or marsh) along with the lake, including unobstructed views of both sunrise and sunset.

Sh*t-Hill is a historic place / landmark in Southern Minnesota. The legendary old “Baker Family Farms” are both situated just down the road one way, with Lake Washington down the other.

“Baker 🇮🇪” as seen on this 1898 heritage map of Lake Washington (from the local historical book, "Lake Washington History", published in 2016) is marked on the North-West side of the lake, near Sh*t-Hill.

Lake Washington’s “Bakers Bay” is named after the Baker ancestors who once farmed the land around the bay (of which a portion now resides the Lake Washington Regional Park & Campground). Legend has it - the very first parcel of farmland that sold as a lakeside lot / lakefront property went to another Baker family member for just $1.00.

Portions of the old Baker farmland are now developed and available as empty lots for purchase. Each lot is over an acre of land. Listed as for sale by the owners at www.bakersland.info
