Day by day, the competition is getting more exciting! Mr. Simmons is still holding onto the lead with an impressive 430 points!
Our other admins are working hard to make their move, and the scores are definitely keeping things interesting!

Coach Masters — -11 points
Mrs. Grange — -22 points
Mrs. Morris — -72 points
Dr. Antley — -220 points
Remember the Penny Wars strategy: Pennies and dollars ADD points! Silver coins take points away! Every coin dropped can make a difference!
There is still plenty of time for the leaderboard to change!

August was busy, and our numbers show just how much our Warhawks are reading, learning, exploring, and connecting in the V!

📖 1,101 books checked out
🎧📱 300 SORA e-books & audiobooks checked out — that’s 102 hours of reading!
📚 53 new books added to our collection
👩‍🎓 895 individual students visited during the school day
🏫 30 classes visited for orientation & book checkout
💻 700+ Chromebooks issued to new students
📱 32 students connected with SORA

WOW… Mr. Simmons came out swinging! With a whopping 478 points, he is the clear leader after Day One! Mrs. Brock is holding onto 2nd place with 4 points, while Coach Masters (-11), Mrs. Grange (-12), Dr. Antley (-27), and Mrs. Morris (-72) are already feeling the silver coin struggle!

Remember: Pennies & dollars = Points!
Silver = NEGATIVE points!
So choose your coins wisely, because every penny counts and every silver coin can change the game!
Will Mr. Simmons hold onto his lead and become the FIRST EVER repeat Penny Wars champion?! Or will someone pull off a comeback? There are still plenty of days left to SAVE with silver and SCORE with pennies! Let the war continue!
