Sgt. Watson relocated this trespasser from Cinco Ranch West this morning. Just like every good fishing story, the homeowner had to stretch the story a bit with AI!

Be sure to check your pool before taking a cannonball run.

Since Summer began just a few days ago, deputies have issued several citations to both e-dirt bike riders and their parents. We shared this video in December and wanted to share it again as it explains the difference between e-bikes well. If your child has an e-dirt bike, it is only legal to ride on your property or a deer lease, etc. Several kids have been seriously injured in crashes, as well.

We proudly welcomed Zachary Heinecke into the fold this morning! Heinecke recently relocated to our area from Brenham and will be assigned to the Cinco Ranch area once he complete field training. Welcome, Deputy Heinecke!

We didn’t take a photo of the swearing in today, but I’m proud to say with the addition of a new Deputy, we are now staffed at 100%. Hiring officers is a challenge across the country and with 63 full-time sworn positions, it hasn’t been easy to find good applicants. We do have a couple retirements coming in July, so we can’t celebrate for long!
