We are so excited for our carnival tomorrow and want to ensure you know where to park. Our staff will be parked in the front of the building. We ask that our families park on the side parking lot. Entrance to the carnival will be the side gym door and side cafeteria doors. The front entrance of the building will not be open. You will pick up your tickets in the gym. We hope to see many of our families tomorrow from 10-1 p.m.

Our Broncos have been participating in Brosnahan’s Reading March Madness to check out some new books in our library! We started with the Sweet Sixteen this week. CFISD MOBILE LIBRARY UPDATE
Our mobile library bus is under the weather and waiting for repair! Unfortunately, we will have to cancel our scheduled visit on Saturday, February 3 at the Plantation Lakes Community Center. Dr. Killian, superintendent of schools, and CFPD have been driving and assessing the road conditions in our area today. For the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community, all CFISD schools and facilities will be CLOSED on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Additionally, no before- or after-school practices or activities will be held.

We will continue to monitor the road conditions for Wednesday, Jan. 17 and will communicate with you as soon as a decision is made. Stay tuned to the district website, social media and SchoolMessenger for updates. Please stay safe and keep warm!

Nov. 13, 2023—The CFISD Board of Trustees approved Dr. Douglas Killian as the lone finalist for the incoming superintendent of schools during its regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 13.

During the first six weeks, CFISD students and families were Bringing Out the Best with attendance. We are excited to report a 95.25% district attendance rate and 77 campuses that were Attendance Champions with an overall attendance rate of 95% or higher.
