Emily Beltran of Katy High School won the state wrestling championship in the 107-pound weight class, helping lead the girls' team to third place overall in Class 6A at the 2025 UIL Wrestling Tournament.

Dr. Black at MRJH was such an incredibly gracious host to me today! I loved seeing how he lifts up his teachers, brags on them, and celebrates his students from Life Skills to Academics, the culture and environment he is working to create at MRJH was so evident today!

Got out to the MRHS Maverick Pep Rally tonight!

Families packed the Maverick Stadium stands to cheer and support their kids and community in this heat!

Meet the Teacher for KISD is underway!

I was able to pop in and take advantage of an invite to come and see this fun and exciting tradition take place at King Elementary!

Ms. Wilson is the head of King, and those kids LOVE her! The staff and families are all beyond excited to welcome their kids back and new littles in!
