No, I don’t want to track any child.
I DO however want visibility and accountability on the money that it costs to educate.
Why?
So, we can better anticipate these situations and prevent budget shortfall falls that lead to job losses, and program losses.
I understand it’s a hard issue, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t discuss it, and do it without being overly emotional. This is your money and your legacy here in Katy that’s being played with. You have to have oversight and accountability to protect it. It’s not ridiculous.
It’s a practical fiduciary responsibility that needs to be accounted for here, and across Texas.
