With much Appreciation to Fulshear PD Captain Mike McCoy in joining us in providing morning greetings to our kiddos at Campbell Elem. And very impressed with the positive attitude and efficiency of our student volunteers in getting their friends to class on time.

Katy ISD Police Department Chief Henry Gaw and Fulshear Police Captain Mike McCoy paid a morning visit to the car rider line at Amy Campbell Elementary. The children eagerly welcomed them with enthusiastic "high fives" as they kicked off their school day.

Saying goodbye is so bittersweet. This is Rebecca (Becky) Alexander’s last week with us as she has spent the last 32 years as one of our Telecommunicators (Dispatchers). As one of our dispatchers, Becky has been there for our officers and community members in their time of need. Thank you Becky for your many years of dedicated service and sacrifice to keep the Katy ISD community safe. And thank you to Becky’s family for sharing your beloved with us, especially during the holidays and other family times. Becky, we will definitely miss you. Congratulations on a very well-deserved retirement, and best wishes in your next journey, which will include spoiling your grandchildren.

With much appreciation to one of our many law enforcement partners, Fulshear PD, for their assistance in keeping our Katy ISD community safe. We're looking forward to a successful "sequel" on Wednesday.

As we approach the beginning of the school year next week, we kindly urge you to embrace SAFETY, patience, compassion, and serenity. We know some of you parents will be embracing (and celebrating) morning mimosas once the kiddos are dropped off...

Just as our city continues to expand, traffic also experiences growth. Whenever feasible, we encourage you to make use of the school bus system. Opting for the school bus not only alleviates traffic congestion but also shortens drop-off and pick-up queues.

Your cooperation in adhering to designated school zones and no parking areas is greatly appreciated.

Let's work together to ensure a smooth and enjoyable start to the school year for everyone.

LCISD starts Monday, August 14th and KISD begins August 16th.

To the police officer driving the SUV in the CFA line on Mason Rd at I10 just after 7am. I am so sorry I do not know if you are KatyISD or HC. I am the driver of the sliver GMC that was behind you in line that you paid for. I hope you see this as me and mom are so grateful for you and it made our week in more ways than you will ever know. You see we have been down on our luck this year like most but in our own ways. Fortunately we have had my SUV to get us where we need to go. Moms car has been towed 3 times this year and has been currently broken down since the 1st week of November, so we have been relying on my car to get us around. This all changed one morning in December during my college finals that my car had to be towed and have found out it will cost more than 1 semester of school for repairs as my engine needs to be rebuilt. I have learning disabilities among other set backs and I still managed Chancellors Scholars through all the emotional built up. I thought I cried then but I really broke down after dropping mom off on my way home as it was a small jesture that gave us joy. I am not a crier but have shed more tears this month than I could ever imagine. We have been using a rent a car to drive us both, but time is running out as we cannot afford it for much longer. We are trying to get through KatyISD finals before we return the car. Mom is a Special Education Teacher for a JH in the district and does not get much appreciation for her position in the school. So your small jesture this morning may not have seem like anything to you but I just want you to know it meant so much more to us than you would ever know. For that I just wanted to say thank you!! I pray God watches over you and your fellow officers each and every day. Thank you for your service to the communities yall serve. 💙💙💙

maybe if you pigs treated everyone as members of your own family, with love and respect, people would think of you as the scum of the earth. Aren't we all family, God's family?
