Join your neighbors for a night out at the clubhouse!! Friday, February 10, 2023. Come for dinner and bingo! The doors will open at 6:30pm. Lasagna dinner buffet starts at 6:30pm. BINGO games start at 7pm. We will play 20 games, which usually takes about 2 hours. Bingo is for residents over the age of 18 years old. This is an adult only event and space is limited to 60 people (due to building fire code) . Someone thought it was okay to dump all their household waste next to our already full dumpster. 🤢 Hugh! Great! Big! Thank You 👏👏👏 to Board Member Paul Schmidt for spending an hour cleaning up the mess, bagging the loose trash, mattresses, etc… and moving it to the street curb, so that Best Trash can dispose of it today. Please do not use the clubhouse parking lot dumpster. This dumpster is for party rentals in the clubhouse.

At the December board meeting, the bid for fence replacement was awarded to Houston Texas Fence Co. They got to work right away! The white vinyl fence is looking so good. Nice improvement to the overall look of the subdivision.

What a fun Santa Parade for our community! Santa came through our neighborhood this past Saturday! We had a great time with food trucks, bounce house and park time with the neighbors!! Thank you to Tiffan and everyone who volunteered for putting together a great event!!

Be on the look out for Santa coming through the neighborhood tomorrow (Saturday, December 3rd)!! Starting at 12/noon Santa will make his way from Memorial Parkway Junior High to the Community Playground on Cimarron Parkway!! The reindeer are resting for their upcoming big night so Santa is riding on the firetruck!!

Santa's route is Park Brush to Park York, Park York to Park Meadow, Park Meadow to Park Tree, Park Tree to Park Wind.

There will be food trucks and bounce house at the park at the end of the Parade route. So come on down to have some cookies, hot cocoa, hot dogs, and Kona Ice after watching the Parade.

Darn tree roots! We had a tree root that raised a sidewalk section in front of the office. We had ground down this corner a couple of years ago but unfortunately the tree kep growing:( So we needed to do a new concrete pour of this section. Looks great! Good job Concrete Works! Last night at our annual HOA meeting we held an election for two Board of Director positions for a 3 year term (2023-2025). We had 336 homeowners submit either a proxy or vote in person at the annual meeting. The results of the voting were (in alphabetical order):

Cimarron Parkway Pool Reno! These guys have been working hard to remove all the old layers of plaster. Unfortunately the underlying layers were too deteriorated to go on top of. They have remove all the old plaster first prior to installing new quartz.

Speeding Accident on Highland Knolls

There was a Highland Knolls residence struck by a speeding automobile on Tuesday night, October 4th. We are thankful that all residents inside the home escaped serious injury.

We have asked Harris County Pct 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle's office and law enforcement to investigate the major thorough fares (Highland Knolls and Westgreen) going through our subdivision. This will be a coordinated effort with the County Infrastructure Department, Road & Bridge, Community Assistance Department and Law Enforcement in an effort to improve safety on Highland Knolls and Westgreen Blvd.

We are working to set up a meeting with the necessary departments. The County representatives have requested time to visit the site and look into the accident prior to holding a public meeting.

We will provide additional information as it is made available to the Association.

The decorative split rail fence has come to the end of its useful life in the CenterPoint Easement. The fence post and rails have rotten out. We are currently accepting bids for replacement. Off season pool upgrades have begun at Highland Knolls pool!! All 9 pool lights are getting upgraded with LED lights! The pool deck has to be saw cut for one of the lights and hopefully not anymore. One side of the pool lights goes to this junction box in the grass. The junction box will be relocated to the pump house for a safer pool environment. Estimated project cost is $17k plus tax. If you have seen water on the road at HK it’s is the huge pool getting drained. 💦🏊🏻‍♂️🧬
