I created this page in 2012 when I was on City Council and the city administrator told me the city could never have any kind of social media. I'd hoped to morph it into some kind of City page one day, but t

hat became impossible after the 2013 city election. The City of Katy later created their own page, and I've kept this one because I like a venue to share some of the cool old photos I've collected and enjoy helping get answers to questions, sharing news, etc. From the start, the top paragraph has been in place clearly stating that this page is private and not affiliated with the City of Katy. When I do get questions that should go to the city I forward those to the city. The page is private property and opinions expressed are my own as well as those of thousands who comment on posts. From time to time I may use it for personal endorsements or political commentary because, well, it is my page and I can do that. Comments are welcome and friendly differences of opinion are fine. I reserve the right to hide or delete comments that are delusive or offensive and/or block users who post them.

Jessica Cherry, 38, was last seen around 6:30 PM on Monday, August 17, in the Cane Island area of Katy, Texas 77493.

According to a loved one, Jessica has not responded to calls or messages, and her phone’s location services have been turned off. A police report was filed on August 20. Her family says this behavior is unusual and is deeply concerned for her safety. Jessica also has a teenage daughter awaiting her return.

She may be traveling in a black Mercedes-Benz sedan. Anyone with information regarding Jessica’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Katy Police Department at 281-391-4848.
