We will be hosting our next blood drive in memory of our very own Kamryn Sanamo. Kamryn is the daughter of our GT teacher, Dusty Sanamo. She passed away from brain cancer on January 5, 2023. Her legacy lives on in our community as she impacted so many of us. We always honor her and her sweet family by remembering her through our blood drives. Please consider signing up. September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness.

H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards Nominations Due September 30:

H-E-B will award more than $1 million to Texas educators and schools through its 2027 Excellence in Education Awards program. Nominate a deserving educator by September 30 and encourage them to apply by November 1!

Katy Elementary has been so blessed to have received school supply donations for our students from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, American Legion Post 164, and Fussell Senior Citizens Center. We have the best community!

First Day of 26 - 27

Katy ISD welcomed over 95,000 students back to school this morning. This year the District, which routinely ranks top among Houston area school districts, will focus on ‘Excellence in Action’ and this morning’s return was all about tradition.
