Kaufman County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help locating Diego Carlos Rodriguez, wanted for Capital Murder.

Rodriguez, 18, is wanted in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred on March 27, 2026, in Kaufman County.

He should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, call 911 immediately.

On February 17, 2026, the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office received a Crime Stoppers tip regarding a stolen vehicle located in the 1100 block of Anglin Way in Terrell, Texas.
Investigators observed from the roadway a Dodge Challenger that had been reported stolen out of Dallas, Texas. Detectives subsequently obtained a search warrant for the residence.
The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed the search warrant and made entry into the home without incident.
During the search of the residence, investigators recovered:
• 21 fi****ms, ranging from rifles to handguns
• Numerous firearm magazines and ammunition
• Approximately 60 pounds of ma*****na
• Approximately 2,000 grams of THC wax
• Drug packaging materials and scales
• Five vehicles
• $436,110 in U.S. currency believed to be proceeds from narcotics sales
• A stolen Dodge Challenger valued at approximately $60,000
One adult female was arrested during the ex*****on of the search warrant.
This investigation remains ongoing.

Terrell Police, alongside the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and Street Crimes Unit, recently executed a high-risk narcotics warrant targeting a major methamphetamine distributor.

This operation removed dangerous drugs, a firearm, and a stolen vehicle from our streets, helping keep our community safer.
