Did you know a license is required for peddlers, canvassers, solicitors, or transient merchants in the City of Kaukauna? To be granted a license, they must first pass a record check by our police department and then get approval by the City Council. If someone comes to your door to sell you something, make sure they have a proper license (shown in the photo below). Licenses must be displayed upon request. Over the past several days, The Kaukauna Police Department has received numerous complaints about the PGI fireworks convention at WIR. This event is not in the City of Kaukauna but permitted by and located in the Town of Buchanan. The Outagamie County Highway Department is holding a public involvement meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at the Kaukauna City Hall Council Chambers, located at 144 W. 2nd Street, Kaukauna, WI 54130. The meeting will run from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss proposed roadway improvements at the intersection of County CE and Fieldcrest Drive. Outagamie County has received funding through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to address safety concerns at this intersection, under the FHWA Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP).
