WHAT IS A PUBLIC HEARING?
Public hearings are an important step in the decision making process for our city. As the name implies, the public is welcome, invited and ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND PUBLIC HEARINGS.
Public hearings provide residents a chance to share thoughts with city officials about a particular issue before decisions are made. The role of the governing body is to hear and then consider statements made when making decisions.
