Fireworks are restricted in much of Fruit Heights - regardless of the date for legal fireworks. Please be mindful of any flames or sparks, and understand the fireworks and open burn restrictions for Fruit Heights. Wind, dry conditions, warming temps, and the vegetation surrounding much of our city make for a very dangerous situation. See Fireworks and Open Burn Restrictions Map in comments.

Road Work Ahead
Residents on Charlais Drive and Daniel Drive may notice road crews starting Friday, May 29, as work begins to mill and overlay those two streets. Starting Friday, crews will begin lowering manhole covers. Next, starting the week of June 8, the mill moves into place to remove the top layer of asphalt. The new asphalt goes down, and finally, manhole covers are placed at street level again.

This method addresses surface-level issues like cracks and unevenness, and prolongs pavement life. Residents in these areas will receive information about the project as work nears their home. If your home is on one of these streets, please avoid parking on the street when work is occurring. The work is scheduled to be completed in early July.
