Cooper Center The Cooper Center is Volcano's community center. Our facility is a County Community Center, run under a Memorandum of Understanding with the County of Hawaii.

We operate as a non profit organization run by volunteers. The Cooper Center is our community center in Volcano Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are a nonprofit, directed by the Cooper Center Council, with a mission of bringing the community of Volcano and surrounding area into a cohesive group. We direct and/or host many activities and projects. Our community is located within native Hawai

ian rain forest, surrounded by hapu'u ferns & ʻōhiʻa trees, near the entrance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Whether you are a new resident, a long-time kamaʻāina, or a visitor, please join us in continuing to make Volcano, Hawaii a superb place to live! Cooper Center is home to the famous Volcano Farmer's Market held every Sunday from 6-10am.
