Don’t hate me for this, but I have a bad habit of reading more than one book at a time. When I’m not teaching in the summer it gets a little carried away. I have to have a book on my kindle (bedtime reading), a book (pool and park reading), an audio book (dog walking and laundry folding reading), my book club’s book for the month, and a book that my students might enjoy. So tell me I’m not the only one here!

Currently in the middle of our One School, One Book program and we are loving it. This is my second year implementing a Read to Them program and I highly recommend it. Our elementary students are reading with their families including my little family.

These books would be the ones I’d bring home. Who remembers “The Indian in the Cupboard”? My third grade teacher read it aloud and then we watched the movie. I was obsessed!
