Mobile Mammograms - Join us on June 18th at the Platte Clay Electric Cooperative Kearney Office!

As part of PCEC's commitment to serving our community, we are hosting a local mobile mammography screening at our Kearney headquarters. Call to schedule your appointment today: (913) 344-9989. Walk-ins welcome! If you forget to schedule, don't hesitate to come in and see if we can fit you in.

When scheduling your mammogram, tell the scheduler that the appointment is for the mobile coach for June 18.

Women 35-39 years of age are eligible for a screening baseline mammogram. They should check with their insurance provider prior to the screening for plan eligibility and coverage.

Women 40 years or older do not need an order. Your most recent screening mammogram should be 12 months or more prior to the current mammogram for insurance coverage reasons. Please check with your insurance provider for coverage if you are earlier than 12 months.

You will need a photo id, your insurance card, and the name of your primary care physician. On the day of your mammogram, please refrain from wearing deodorant, lotion, or perfume from the waist up. Also wear a two-piece outfit so you don't have to fully disrobe.

Testing is provided by Diagnostic Imaging Centers, P.A.

This Bulldog has a question for our local businesses!

The Kearney, MO School District is exploring the idea of a Bulldog Business Showcase at its 2026 All-Staff Convocation and wants to hear from the local business community.

This potential event would provide an opportunity to connect with KSD staff, share information about your business, offer special promotions, and build relationships with the educators and staff who serve our students and families.

At this stage, KSD is simply gathering feedback to determine interest and shape the event.

💡 Empower Tuesday

When Angel Brown joined the Empower Kearney Leadership Academy, she was stepping into a brand-new role and looking for support, accountability, and opportunities to grow as a leader.

What she found was so much more.

Through Leadership Academy, Angel strengthened her communication, time management, and delegation skills while gaining valuable insight into her own strengths and leadership style.

Her advice for anyone considering applying?

👉 "Take the chance. If you think you might need to do it, you definitely do."
