Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska We are a private, non-profit organization. Our Vision: "Helping people, changing lives, and making communities a better place to live."

We are a private, non-profit agency established in 1965 as a part of Lyndon B. Johnson’s “War on Poverty” which worked to develop effective solutions to meet community needs. Community Action works to alleviate poverty conditions and enhance economic, education, health, housing, nutrition, and transportation resources. Throughout our history, the agency has established solid programs that benefit

our 27 county service area in south central Nebraska. Head Start, WIC, Weatherization, Commodity Supplemental Food Program, RYDE Transit, Immunization clinics, Food Bank, Case Management, Affordable Housing, Homeless Prevention, and Senior Centers are the major programs that we operate.

🌱🥕 Our “Grow Another Row” stand is officially ready for the season! Thanks to amazing volunteers who painted the stand and helped get it ready for donations. If your garden produces a little extra this year, consider sharing your harvest with local families in need. Anyone can leave their extra and anyone who needs it can take it home! Every tomato, cucumber, and zucchini makes a difference!
