Good morning KEEECHI!!!!!

Man, it’s already been a week and it’s only Monday!

Yup, I’ve got y’all’s messages and yes I am having a blast up here in Sturgis, South Dakota!

I am working for SPD while taking a little vacation time! It’s been awesome meeting great people from everywhere! A few even know about our little town from Facebook!!!

Cops and Rodders Car Show #2

Man what a weekend! Took a full day just to recover…..

We just want to say THANK YOU!!! Thank you to the community that supports what we do! Thank you for helping us take another step towards the park goal!

We had over 100 cars at the first annual Cops and Rodders Car Show!!!! That is an amazing turnout!! We are committed to this event and intend on making it bigger and better!! Many sponsors and supporters have already said, “buckle up for next year, it’s going to grow”. So that’s what we are shooting for. With 115 degree heat indices, yall still showed up, thank you!!!!

Next year it WILL BE A SPRING OR FALL SHOW!!!! Maybe even a nice December afternoon if we can keep the temps up!

Special thanks to Bailee Goad for snapping and editing some great photos!!! We will add all we can to this post then the rest will be in a second post…. FEEL FREE TO ADD YOURS IN THE COMMENTS SECTION!

After the night at the races and the car show, we are in desperate need of a race/show car for the PD. Please consider a donation of, but not limited to…… Ford Raptors, anything Porsche, apparently Tesla is fast, a Top Fuel Dragster Oracle Red Bull Racing (if you could help with anything faster than our patrol cars, that would be great!?) Looks like almost anything donated will be faster than what we drive 😂😂😂😂😂

So tonight was a blast!!! More pics and photos in the comments….

So, there I am in the truck at the staging area. I hadn’t found a race yet when the sweetest young lady comes up and asks me to race her dad….. without hesitation I said “Sure!!”….. she said “Awesome, he’s over there getting ready….”……..

I turned my head and realized I should have hesitated just a little…. Because he was in THIS!

Too late now…. So without an ounce of pride or ego I ponied up to take my medicine……. As I wqs easing up to stage I told the guy at the line I was going to burn the tree!!! He laughed, I laughed, I couldn’t tell if the man in the drag racer was laughing because all I could hear was his car… RUMP, RUMP, RUMP……

So the tree lights up and I went FULL SEND!!! I BEAT THIS DUDE IN THE FIRST SIX INCHES OF THE RACE!!!!! He yeah!!! Then a deafening roar came past my window and I cashed in an 11 second run while he hit the line somewhere around 6 I think…. I did beat him back to the pits though…….

I pulled the Slingshot out too and gave her a few runs as well! It was a blast!!!!

Bruh….. they weren’t kidding when they said “beat the heat”…… this is more like a “gang initiation”……. In full disclosure, we put the truck and Durango back to stock last night……
