Community Day Friday, July 3rd, 2026

The Keene Community Day Steering Committee wishes to invite local groups and local not-for- profits to participate in our event. Groups must be a community-based clubs/committees or local not-for-profits that engage in projects which benefit the Town of Keene.

Local groups or clubs who wish to have an informational table at Keene Community Day, please contact Teresa Cheetham-Palen at [email protected].

The date is 7/3/2026 beginning at 5:00 pm.

Groups will need to supply their own tables/chairs/tents. Electricity is not available. WIFI is available.

Food vendors, live music, kids games, tug of war, beaver toss, entertainment, and fireworks!

Jody will hold the lieutenant position until his departure for his next adventure with his family. You leave big boots to fill! ❤️🚨 Thank you Jody!!

YOU'RE INVITED: In appreciation of 25 years of community support, IRONMAN is hosting a Community Ice Cream Celebration today (Monday, July 22) from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Lake Placid Horse Show Grounds! Residents and community members in the Town of Keene, NY, Town of Jay, NY, Town of Wilmington, and Town of North Elba, as well as the Village of Lake Placid, are invited to join for free ice cream, live music, a bounce house, and more.
