We recently had the opportunity to get some valuable hands-on training in pump operations and aerial operations. Training like this helps keep our members sharp, confident, and prepared to operate our equipment safely and effectively when the call comes in.

From drafting and establishing a water supply to operating the aerial, every part of the training is important.

A big thank you to everyone who came out!

Today, we remember Mark Dragoon on the 20th anniversary of his passing. Members had the honor and privilege to attend a small ceremony this morning remembering Mark.

Though two decades have passed, Mark’s impact remains strong, especially within our organization.

Since his passing, our organization has grown through improved training, enhanced equipment, expanded rescue capabilities, and continued service to our community. We strive to build on the foundation established by members who came before us.

Please join us in remembering Mark Dragoon and keeping his family and friends in your thoughts today.

Today, the members of the Keeseville Fire Department pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave their lives defending the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their courage and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As firefighters, EMS providers, and public servants, we understand the meaning of sacrifice and service to others. Today, we stand with our community in honoring all fallen military heroes and the families they left behind.

From all of us at the Keeseville Fire Department, thank you to all the families, veterans, and active-duty military members. We remember the fallen, honor their legacy, and remain forever grateful. 🇺🇸🚒

As we near the end of the week, we would like to take a moment and make thanks. The fire service as many know is no longer predominantly fire related. A majority of the calls now are EMS. In a service where calls are continuing to increase year after year and demands are higher and higher. We would like to say thanks to our EMS professionals, Volunteer and Paid staff alike! Without all of you, quality care and compassion would not take place in our community and it does not go unnoticed! Thank you all for what you do day in and day out!

Members are proud to be able to get out and support our Veterans for every Honor Flight. Thank you to all of our veterans for your service and everyone have a safe flight!
