Keesler Airman Leadership School

Keesler Airman Leadership School Airman Leadership School is the first level of Professional Military Education enlisted Airmen experience. Department of the Air Force or Department of Defense.

It is a Community College Air Force affiliated program. Completion is required to assume the grade of Staff Sergeant. Week 4 is complete! ✅

Over the past week, Class 26-6 covered lessons on Standards and Discipline, Problem-Solving, Interpersonal Communication, Personal and Professional Development, National Military Organizations, and Air Force Core Missions.

The students also had valuable opportunities for professional growth through hosting the Wing Commander and Command Chief, and participating in luncheons with our First Sergeants and Chiefs. 💥

Week 3 is in the books! ✅

This week, Class 26-6 tackled lessons on Leadership, Behavioral Analysis, the Enlisted Performance Brief, Negotiations, Introduction to Critical Thinking, Airman Support and Response Actions, and Decorations.

Outside the classroom, the students continued crushing PT five days a week and put their leadership into action during their volunteer event on Saturday. 💥

Class 26-6 is off to a strong start at Airman Leadership School! ✅

During Weeks 1 and 2, our 16 Airmen and 1 Coast Guardsman have built a strong foundation. Their lessons have included Orientation, Airmanship, The Tongue and Quill, Presentation Communication, The Awards Program, Emotional Intelligence, Trust-Based Relationships, and Core Values.

The students also completed their Physical Readiness Assessment, Blues Inspection, and their first performance task, setting a high standard of excellence early in the course. 💥

It’s a wrap for Class 26-5! 🎓

Class 26-5 truly embodied their motto, “Best for Last!” Throughout their ALS journey, they demonstrated hard work, professionalism, resilience, and strong camaraderie while continuously pushing each other to succeed. Their dedication inside and outside the classroom made a lasting impact, and we are proud of all they accomplished.

This graduation also marked the final ALS class for MSgt Sarah Lipscomb as an instructor. Thank you for your dedication, mentorship, and commitment to developing Airmen! Your influence will continue to be felt through the many graduates you've helped shape over the years.

Week 5 is complete! ✅

This week, Class 26-5 covered lessons on Interpersonal Communication and Feedback, Core Missions, Joint Forces Overview, the National Defense Strategy, and National Military Organizations.

The students also enjoyed professional development luncheons with our First Sergeants and Chiefs, while continuing to build camaraderie through human performance sessions and the Chiefs/Shirts Volleyball Game. 💥🏐

Class 26-4 wrapped up week 5 with a deep dive into military studies, exploring how the services integrate to accomplish the mission through joint operations and strategic planning.

Throughout the week, the students covered lessons on the Core Missions, Joint Forces Overview, National Defense Strategy, National Military Organizations, and Operational Concepts.

With graduation coming up on Thursday, Class 26-4 is motivated and ready to cross the finish line strong! 🔥
