City of Keiser

City of Keiser Keiser is a close-knit community with a strong sense of pride in its small-town heritage.

The City of Keiser supports Issue #3 on the November ballot, which would give local communities the ability to create Economic Development Districts to help attract new businesses, create jobs, and encourage investment in our communities.

If approved, this tool could provide cities like Keiser with additional opportunities to support economic growth, improve infrastructure, expand housing, and strengthen our local economy without relying solely on traditional funding sources.

Issue #3 is about giving Arkansas communities more flexibility to invest in their future and create opportunities for the next generation. We encourage residents to learn more about the proposal and make their voices heard at the ballot box in November.

Senior Safety Program

We are excited to announce that the City of Keiser will tentatively kick off our new Senior Safety Program during the week of July 6th.

A kickoff meeting will be held at the Keiser First Baptist Church MAC Center on a day that week — the exact date and time will be announced shortly.

This meeting is open to all Keiser seniors age 60 and older. We’ll introduce the program, explain the services it will provide, and share how it will support the health, safety, and well‑being of our senior community.

Please make plans to attend.

This program will be a vital service for our seniors, and we need your help spreading the word so no one misses out.

Drainage Project Update

The contractor's game plan is to start with the driveway culverts.

The first step will be to cut the concrete at each driveway where a culvert is being replaced. The contractor plans to complete the concrete cutting at all locations before beginning culvert replacement work.

Once the concrete is cut, it will still be safe to drive across the driveway. The existing culvert will remain in place and will not move or shift until it is time for replacement.

After all the concrete has been cut, the contractor will return and begin removing and replacing the culverts one at a time. Each culvert replacement is expected to take approximately one hour, which should help minimize inconvenience and disruption to residents.

We appreciate everyone's patience as we move forward with this important drainage improvement project. These upgrades will help improve water flow and reduce drainage issues throughout the affected areas of our community.

Good news for Keiser!

The culverts for our Drainage Improvement Project have officially been delivered. This is a major milestone, and residents should begin seeing visible progress on the project very soon.

This project will help address longstanding drainage issues in several areas of our community, improve stormwater flow, and reduce flooding concerns during heavy rain events.

Thank you for your patience as we continue working to improve Keiser's infrastructure. We are excited to see this project move from the planning stage into construction and will keep everyone updated as work progresses.

🐾 FOUND DOG AT THE CITY POUND 🐾

Hi everyone! I'm currently being cared for at the city pound, but I'd really like to get back home to my family.

If you recognize me or know who my owners are, please let them know where I am so we can be reunited as soon as possible.

Please share this post to help me find my way home. ❤️

This week is Clean Up the Park Week!

We’re looking for volunteers to help pick up limbs, remove any trash, clean the bathrooms, and rake leaves. Our goal is to keep the park looking great for all the children and families who enjoy it.

If you complete any volunteer work, please stop by City Hall and log your hours with Penny. Every bit of volunteer work counts toward the grant we’re applying for to finish the walking trail on the south end of the park.

Thank you in advance for your help and for taking pride in our community.

06/06/2026

Starting Saturday, June 6th, the park bathrooms will be open for use. Please help us keep the park clean and take care of the facilities. We’ve had issues with vandalism in the past, and we want to prevent that from happening again. Talk with your children so they understand the consequences of damaging public property.

For the Great Strides / Trails for Life Grant we are applying for this month, the City can earn extra points for work performed at the City Park.

If you have picked up trash, limbs, or completed any type of cleanup or maintenance at the park this year, please stop by City Hall and add your name and the task performed to the activity sheet.

This grant application is due at the end of the month, so any work done between now and June 28th can still be credited.

This is a simple way you can help us earn valuable points and strengthen our application. Thank you for supporting our park and our community.
