Howdy everybody. Bet y'all have been wondering why I have been so quite lately? Well, I've been back in hospital. Being able to enjoy being in remission is over. That darn acute leukemia is back. Don't know what the future holds other than it doesn't look good for me. We will be trying another form of chemo this coming Monday. We first must see how well my body will tolerate this "new" chemo. Add me to your prayer list please at your church, ans meanwhile, keep Pony Express Charities, Inc. up and running. The transportation cost for my fellow commuting cancer patients are still there and growing. Grandpawjohn

Good morning, one and all. Now that Christmas is here almost, what a time to do as Jesus would always do by helping in any way he could. Why not join us here at Pony Express Charities, Inc. and do what Jesus would want you to do by making a donation to Pony Express, or, ANY non profit that is truly helping folks as Pony Express does. Really enjoyed our time at the 9th Annual "Vets for Vets" fundraiser at the old Hamel's Park. Met some wonderful folks, saw SO MANY beautiful Harley's too. Also. some real nice street rods too!

GREAT food, music, even the announcer wasn't half bad either, Mr. BOB GIFFORD, (he-he), he was GREAT too. And what a HUGE American flag at the entrance. What a way to honor our Vets. Thank you for having US to share in this wonderful day with so many who have served our country. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and God. John Carrigan

GOOD morning everyone. About to get ready to go out to the old Hamel's Park so that Pony Express Charities, Inc. can join with others to support the "VETS for VETS" day. All the fun begins at 9 am. We will have a booth, so,come on out and have some fun, support the Vets, and stop by and say HOWDY!!!!!!

OK all you Ark-La-Tex riding clubs. Pony Express Charities, Inc. was invited to their added money barrel race this past Saturday, Oct. 19th to hold a "Fundraiser" to raise money for our "Transportation Fund."
We were assisted by Ms. Clark, and her Texas Longhorn Bull, "Sambo," that you could sit in the saddle and have your photo taken on him too1

Hope to see y;all out at SOUTHSIDE RIDING CLUB, Saturday,Oct. 18th, 2013. $1000.00 ADDED MONEY barrel race. PONY EXPRESS CHARITIES,INC. will also have a "Fundraiser" to help with our "Transportation Fund."

Not a barrel racer? You might be AFTER you see some of the fastest horses & some of the BEST riders the Ark-La-Tex has to offer. I have even heard "rumors" that MARTHA JOSEY may also be one of the competitors. WOW, what a week-end this will be!!!

For "another" special attraction, there will be a HUGE Texas Longhorn Bull right next to the clubhouse and next to OUR tent. Have your picture taken with the bull. I believe that you can have the option of sitting on him as they snap your picture. You can bet your socks that I am going to do that.

Going to be a real fun day, and lets raise LOTS of money to help the cancer out-patients of FEIST-WEILLER B.M.T. Clinic that are having to make very long commutes back to Shreveport to continue their life saving treatments. NO HELP with gasoline costs without YOU GUYS helping. Thanks, and God Bless, John

Listen up everybody, hears the latest Pony Express news. There will be a BIG barrel race this coming Saturday, 10-19-2013 at SOUTHSIDE RIDING CLUB. (Check THEIR page for all the info.)
We, Pony Express Charities, Inc. has been invited to hold a fundraiser at this event. We will have a tent their with all the latest information on where we stand at this point. (We need MONEY!!!) Lots of cancer patients needing our help, but the well in currently DRY. VERY DRY!!!
SO we would like to see all our "OLD Friends" - and make a lot of "NEW Friends" too.
There will also be a very BIG surprise right next to the Pony Express Charities, Inc. tent. Your going to REALLY love this one.

I just received a reminder notice from the home offices of the KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM to make SURE that all friends of Pony Express Charities, Inc. has gone online and registered their KROGER PLUS CARD to benefit Pony Express.

If you haven't done so yet, PLEASE do so ASAP!! AS you shop using your KROGER PLUS CARD it will be accumulating points to go to Pony Express. Here is how it's done;

If you already have an an online account - Click on MY ACCOUNT and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.

Once you are logged in, click on "Edit Kroger Community Rewards Information" and input our Kroger Plus card number.

Update or confirm your information.

Enter your NPO's number (91196) or name of organization or select an organization from list and click on "CONFIRM"

To verify you enrolled correctly, you will see your organizations name on the RIGHT SIDE of your information page.

Then make SURE you swipe your KROGER PLUS CARD when shopping at your favorite Kroger Store.

Good morning all. John Carrigan here, President of Pony Express Charities, Inc. I won't be able to monitor our page for several days due to my being admitted into hospital today.

Pony Express is ONLY 6 "likes" away from 100!!!!! I will be counting on you guys to push that number over the 100 mark while I am in hospital.
