A few of our Keller 4-H members had the opportunity to attend Commissioners Court for the official proclamation recognizing Tarrant County 4-H Week!

We enjoyed spending time with our 4-H Extension Agents, Kate Marshall, and Sanci Hall, and are grateful for their support and encouragement of our youth.

A special thank you to Commissioner Manny Ramirez for sponsoring the proclamation and helping recognize the impact 4-H has on youth across Tarrant County.

What a great opportunity for our kids to see local government in action while representing an organization they love.

We’re proud of our Keller 4-H members! πŸ’š

Fall stockshow season is HOT πŸ”₯.

Congratulations to Quinn and his steer, Blackjack, on a great show at Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo!

Quinn and Blackjack placed 4th and 5th in their ABC steer class across two shows!

We know how much time, hard work, and dedication Quinn has put into his project. It takes a lot of early mornings, long days, and commitment to get to the show ring, and Quinn continues to put in the work. We love seeing that dedication pay off!

Way to go, Quinn!

πŸŽ‰ Award-Winning Agricultural Literacy Program Recognized Nationally! πŸŽ‰

What happens when community partners come together to introduce urban youth to agriculture? National recognition!

The Stock Show Spotlight: Growing Agricultural Literacy for Urban Youth program was recently recognized at the National Extension Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (NEAFCS) Conference, earning:

πŸ₯‡ 1st Place Southern Region Winner
πŸ₯ˆ 2nd Place National Winner

This innovative partnership has helped connect Tarrant County youth with agriculture through hands-on experiences that explore livestock, food production, natural resources, and the rich traditions of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.

By creating opportunities for youth to learn where their food comes from and how agriculture impacts everyday life, this program is helping build a stronger understanding of an industry that touches us all.

Thank you to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, Prairie View A&M Extension, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, and the many educators, volunteers, and community partners who make this work possible.

Together, we're growing the next generation of informed citizens, consumers, and leaders. πŸ€πŸ„πŸ€
