Good morning Kellyton, over the next several days you should see work starting on the roads within the town limits of Kellyton. Mayor Sharpe has been working to get these roads repaired for over a year now, council members agreed and we would like to thank the Coosa County Commission and Engineers for helping make this project possible. Funding for repairs will be paid out of the town’s fuel excise tax account which is earmarked for road work only, at the completion of the project funds will be released for payment from this account. When you see Mayor Sharpe or any council member thank them for getting this taken care of and making our roads look better. Please use caution while traveling within the town over the next several days while they are working on these roads. Roads to be worked on will be Church Street, Gin House Road, Old School Road, Firehouse Road and the Restriping of County Road 50. McClellan Road hang tight you’re also on the list for much needed repairs. Please be mindful of the workers and equipment in these areas.
