Please join us for a guided kayak tour at Clear Lake State Park!

The tour will depart from the boat launch near the marina at 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 16th, 2026. Park staff will lead a two-hour tour of the park's lakeside and riparian habitats and speak about our vibrant aquatic ecosystems.

Guests must bring their own kayak.

Coast Guard-approved life jackets are mandatory - we will have a limited number available.

Please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and an adventurous spirit!

This event is most suitable for those ages 10 and up.

Come join us this Saturday, May 9th - we'll be gazing to the heavens and enjoying the crisp night skies of Clear Lake State Park.

This event is free and is located on the swim beach at the park - continue down the park road past the campgrounds until just before the road ascends the hill - you'll find the parking lot on the left.
We'll have telescopes set up for your use and a presentation on the constellations will be conducted by staff after everyone gets settled.

Feel free to bring your own telescope and don't forget to download your favorite stargazing app on your phone! We'd recommend Stellarium, Sky Walk 2, or Night Sky 11. We also recommend you bring flashlight or headlamp (red light preferred), camp chairs, snacks, and refreshments!

This Sunday, October 26th, come join us at Clear Lake State Park to carve your own jack-o-lantern or paint a pumpkin masterpiece! This free event will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the park's covered pavilion near the visitor center - rain or shine!

We will have 50 or so pumpkins available to the public - first come, first served, as well as pumpkin-carving kits, paint, and brushes. We look forward to seeing you then!
