On September 28th, Lieutenant Mike Judge of the Kemmerer Volunteer Fire Department found himself in the right place at the right time. While in front of the Fire Station, he was alerted to a male who was not breathing.

Lieutenant Judge immediately responded, assisting with CPR and retrieving lifesaving equipment from the station. Thanks to the quick actions of Mike and the coordinated efforts of other first responders, the individual survived.

Our volunteers train for moments like these, but sometimes fate places them exactly where they’re needed most. We are proud to recognize Lieutenant Mike Judge for his swift action and dedication. He was presented with a Life Saving Award by South Lincoln EMS Chief Scott Meyers.

The Kemmerer Volunteer Fire Department recently took delivery of this new Type 6 Brush Truck! Check out the new Brush 1, which will replace the 20 year old Brush 1. This new addition to the fleet comes with state of the art upgrades to help us protect the citizens and lands within South Lincoln County Fire District, better than ever! We want to the thank the public for their continued support of the Kemmerer Volunteer Fire Department!
