We would like to congratulate firefighter King, now also Officer King. Officer King graduated from the 117th class of the Allentown Police Academy this week. King is a sworn police officer of the Salisbury Township Police Department. He was awarded top shooter of his class receiving multiple awards for marksmanship. We wish you a safe and successful career. The Kempton Fire Company is proud of your accomplishments.

The Kempton Fire Company offers our sincere condolences to the families of Fire Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Chief Robert Shick, whose lives were cut short in the line of duty. We also extend our unwavering support to the entire membership of the Walnuttown Fire Company.
In the volunteer fire service, we are geared to save lives, sacrifice our time, and constantly give back to our community. However, we are never truly prepared to lose one of our own. This loss cuts deep, affecting the immediate families, their fire company, and the entire brotherhood of the surrounding fire service.
The community supports you, and your fire service family will stand beside you during this difficult time.
