Today, contractors gathered along parts of the North East Cape Fear River to view the project areas and discuss the upcoming river cleaning efforts. These site visits give contractors the opportunity to assess conditions and develop bids for the work ahead.

Cleaning and maintaining our waterways is vital to protecting water quality, improving habitat, and keeping our river healthy for everyone who enjoys it.

We appreciate the interest and participation of the contractors as we begin the bidding process. Stay tuned for updates as this project moves forward!
