Excited to see this in a library! Libraries aren’t “shhhhushy” places anymore. 😎We have Cardio Drumming in our Senior Center in Kenansville and participants ❤️ it! Thanks to many different Grants our libraries and other departments can provide engaging and enriching programs for our citizens of all ages! This is so important in our rural area.

New name, same great exercise program! Paige has gone through a fun cardio drumming training to bring you all some new routines, and she can't wait to show you what she learned!

Cardio drumming is an exercise class that combines drumsticks and exercise balls for one of the most fun workouts you'll ever do.

Thank you, Dolly for so many things. ❤️

We are heartbroken over Dolly Parton's passing, and humbled by her longtime commitment to literacy, libraries, and reading.

We spend a lot of time witnessing the power of reading in young people's lives. Dolly saw that power, too. Through her Imagination Library initiative, she's sent 300 million free books (and counting) into the homes of children around the world. As she once said, “We can't just hope for a brighter day, we have to work for a brighter day.” Thank you, Dolly, for putting in the work for a brighter day for so many of us.

We are so proud of our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten participants. Davis (5) completed his challenge in our Kenansville Branch last week. He's ready for whatever Kindergarten throws at him!
