Duplin County Library prides itself in being the "very best place to start" for its citizens and patrons to find information, recreational and educational reading materials, and a

resource for photocopying, laminating, state and federal tax forms and reference and other services. The public library system in Duplin County is a system of libraries with the headquarters located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The branch libraries are located in Beulaville, Faison, Magnolia, Rose Hill and Warsaw. More than 75,000 items and 42,600 plus total titles represent the collection size of the system. Patrons can now check their accounts 24/7 and place materials "on hold" from work or home. We also have a large DVD selection, books on CD as well as a digital library offering e-books.

The Microsoft office classes at the Duplin County library are scheduled to start on May 5th and run from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights for six weeks. The dates for the classes are May 5th, May 7th, May 12th, May 14th, May 19th, May 21st, May 26th, May 28th, June 2nd, June 4th, June 9th, and June 11th. To sign up for the class, please call the Kenansville library at (910) 296-2117. James Sprunt Community College is providing the instructor. The classes are free. We have 12 seats in the class.

E-books are now available. All you need is any e-reader, computer, or phone capability and a Duplin County Library card and pin number. Log into http://e-inc.lib.overdrive.com which is available 24/7.
Click on account or sign in and select Duplin County Library. Enter your card number and pin number. If you do not have a library card, feel free to visit any of our six library locations to sign up for one. Enjoy choosing from over 5,000 titles available from adult fiction/non-fiction to children and teen fiction/non-fiction.
Begin your search. Once the book is found, click on the cover. If a copy of the book is available, just click on borrow. If all copies are out, you can place the book on hold. Click on bookshelf and click download and select the format. The limit is 4 books at a time. Loans are for 2 weeks, no renewals allowed.
