Ready, Set, Solve: WCLS Speed Puzzling Contest
Saturday, Oct 24, 2:00 p.m., North Fork Library

Join the fun in the first ever WCLS speed puzzling competition! Teams of up to 4 people will compete to see who can finish a copy of the same 300-piece puzzle the fastest in under 1 hour. Puzzles provided. Don't have a team? Register anyway and on the day of the competition we will pair you up with others looking for a team. The top team from each participating library branch will have the opportunity to compete at the WCLS Speed Puzzling Championship on November 8th at Open Book. This event is open to anyone looking for a puzzling good time! Register your team in-person at the North Fork Library or by calling (360) 599-2020. Team names are welcome and encouraged!

PSE Energy Assistance Workshop at North Fork Library
Saturday, Oct 17, 10 am to 1pm
PSE Outreach Manager Juan Farias Torres, will be at the library to help customers sign up for Puget Sound Energy's bill assistance and home energy assistance programs. No documentation or proof of income required, just bring your PSE number and Juan will take care of the rest.

Qigong with Kelly

Register for Kelly Uusitalo's Qigong workshop in the new library meeting room!
Kelly Uusitalo has practiced Qigong for 15 years. Her sessions will include healing sounds, postures, flows, and breathing techniques. Each workshop will end with a 10-minute meditation.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing. A mat and grippy socks are recommended but not required. Bring a water bottle, if you like, and a sense of adventure!

Calling writers of all abilities! Whether you're outlining a new book, crafting your latest blog, or beginning a new writing practice, you're invited.

Join in for monthly drop-in meetups, hosted by writer/author Luca Williams. After a brief check-in and optional prompt, we'll settle into silent writing time. Writing alongside others is powerful! At the end, we'll have time to reflect on how writing flowed, share insights, read short excerpts for optional feedback, or simply connect. Please register for this program at wcls.org.
