At Chandler Place, we provide compassionate care in a warm, lively senior living community. A full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care.

I am sure you've all heard that quote before! That's one of the reasons why, at Chandler Place, we focus on exercising and active aging 😊

To kick off Active Aging Week, Tabitha spent the day helping residents through a movement-focused obstacle course, taught them about active aging, and created a healthy afternoon snack with some of the ladies 😍🏋️🌟💖🏃

Have you ever heard of Scherenschnitte?

Scherenschnitte (pronounced Sharon-shnet-uh) is the German word for the art of “scissor snipping,” or paper cutting. A few of the ladies at Chandler Place spent the afternoon learning about this art form! 💗✂️🎨 Germans who settled in Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Dutch, brought paper cutting to America and used it for marriage and birth certificates, Christmas ornaments, and home decoration.

We are excited to recognize Patty as our October Resident of the Month! 😍🌟🍂

Although Patty is a newer member of our community, she has already made such a wonderful impression on everyone around her. She genuinely values the connections she makes with others and has a special way of making people feel warm and welcomed.

Patty can often be seen sharing her beautiful smile, enjoying conversations, and getting to know those around her. Her kind and caring personality has quickly become a wonderful addition to our community.
