The Connally Unit had a surprise visitor!!! The Grinch came to spread holiday cheer and we were so glad to see him! 💕

The Connally Unit was proud to join in on the Founder’s Day Parade held in Karnes City! It was a first for the JBC! We had lots of help from our inmate population. This was made with very little resources. Paper, cardboard, glue, lots of glitter and lots of creativity and time! Thank you to the staff and the inmates who made this possible! It turned out absolutely amazing!

Our Re-Entry Department held an art contest with the FORGE Program! The entries were amazing! They had just a few weeks to compete their entry and could use a medium of their choice! Judges made rounds today and voted on their favorite art piece! Winners will be announced soon!!

The Connally Unit joined together and collected toys for Toys for Tots!! Donations were taken to the Karnes City Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief Charles Malik and Captain Monica Quintanilla. We are always proud to rally for our community!

Thank you Ms. Rodriguez for organizing this event with the Kenedy Elementary School! We all had a blast bringing holiday cheer and the smiles on the kiddos faces were just priceless 💕
