The Kenilworth Park District is absolutely thrilled to have unveiled our first ever ADA Accessible Playground to the community at Townley Field. On Monday, October 21st at 5PM - the Park District held a ribbon cutting with the Wilmette/Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce and was joined by Illinois State Senator Laura Fine. The unveiling of this magnificent playground, sport court, and pavilion marked a major milestone for the Park District. We could not have done this without a lot of amazing work from a lot of amazing people. You have three opportunities next week to learn more about the Kenilworth Park District referendum that would support the development of a new, safer Green Bay Bike Trail, a new Recreation Center to provide year-round programming for all ages, and ongoing improvements to the outdoor recreational spaces on Townley Field. Please register for one of our virtual town halls Monday or Tuesday or attend the Q&A session with the Park Board next Thursday.
