Town of Tonawanda Public Library - Kenmore Branch The Kenmore Library is a member of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System. The Kenmore Library was built at this location in 1976 and opened on August 27, 1977.

Crafterday is back!

The first Saturday of each month is Crafterday at Kenmore!
This month we're making a turkey wreath on Saturday November 6 at 10 am.

Recommended for ages 5-12 (children younger than 5 can attend with a caregiver, children older than 12 can attend if interested).
Registration and masks required. Call 716-873-2842 or stop in the library to register.

One of the best parts of the "Spooky Season" might just be the candy. But we also have our favorites and the ones we don't like as much. Vote for the candy you wait to eat until there is no other choice. Leave a "angry" for candy corn, a "sad" for junior mints, and a "wow" for good and plenty, or let us know in the comments which candies you're not as fond of #ReactionWednesdays

Looking for some part time work?

The Kenmore Library is currently accepting applications to fill a part time page position.

Our ideal candidate would be available weekday mornings and afternoons and occasionally on the weekend and can expect a schedule of 12-15 hours per week at 12.50 an hour.

· Assists clerical staff with library functions as assigned;
· Other miscellaneous duties as needed.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
· Detail oriented;
· Excellent time and attendance record;
· Ability to perform light/medium physical work (pushing book trucks);
· Good communication skills;
· Willingness to work with and learn updated technology;
· Ability to work well with the public.
