Keegan Smith was a student at Kenmore Middle School and sadly passed away from a brain tumor last summer. Please join us in keeping his memory alive through the music he loved, played by friends and family he held dear. Thunder Throne (a band of KMS students) will be performing as well as some friends of Keegan from Orchestra. Then the cover band Random Rockers will finish the evening out! There will be a raffle for items like an electric and an acoustic guitar, and other fun items! Contact Mr. Lane if you’d like to join the orchestra in performing.

Spread the work and please join us on June 14th for a show that will rock!

Each year, our Kenmore Middle School PTSA is proud to recognize outstanding members of our community who go above and beyond in service to our children and youth. We are now accepting nominations for two special honors:

🌰 Golden Acorn Award and 🏅 Outstanding Advocate Award

The Golden Acorn Award is presented to individuals who have given exceptional volunteer service to the children and youth in our school and community. This award recognizes continued, dedicated service and is a wonderful way to honor that work. Recipients receive a Golden Acorn pin and a certificate from the Washington State PTA.

Established in 2004, the Outstanding Advocate Award recognizes an individual for their advocacy and commitment to creating strong policies and positive change in support of the health, welfare, safety, and education of children and youth. Recipients receive a pin and certificate, and a contribution is made in their name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Program, which benefits students.
