♻️ Household Hazardous Waste Collection Coming to Blair!

Time to clean out the garage, basement, or shed! The Household Hazardous Waste Collection will be in Blair on:

📅 Friday, September 18
⏰ 2:00–5:00 PM
📍 Blair Recycling Center – 440 South 3rd Ave.
💲 FREE OF CHARGE

Accepted household items include paint, pesticides, herbicides, oil, cleaning chemicals, yard chemicals, antifreeze, fluorescent bulbs, car batteries and more.

⚠️ Household quantities only. Please see the attached flyer for a complete list of accepted and non-accepted items.

This event is funded by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy and Environment and sponsored by the Nebraska Loess Hills RC&D Council, Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District, and the communities of Blair, North Bend and Walthill.

Notice is hereby given that a regular scheduled meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Kennard, Nebraska will be held on
Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the VILLAGE OFFICE 208 Main St.
The meeting will be open to the public. An agenda for the meeting, kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at the Village Office. Said agenda may be modified at the meeting with concurrence of the Village Board.

Erickson & Brooks to present the board with preliminary agenda. Board to agree on a date for the 2026 budget hearing.

Discuss projects needed addressed at the Auditorium. Discuss potential for pickleball court.

Consider a bid from Fremont Electric to replace faulty
Auditorium lighting.

Consider Resolution 2026-3 , a Resolution signifying compliance for the annual certification of program of Road classifications and standards. Chair to sign the 2026 certification of compliance.

Discuss quote to replace HVAC at the Auditorium.

Consider a proposal from Japp Seeding for 2235.00.

Consider a contract with Knudsen Oil for 2026/27 propane services.

Discuss any Maintenance, Road, Water, Park issues.
