Thanks to all who came out and supported our bingo game last night! From our volunteers and Lions to our players, we couldn't have done it without you! We hope to see you again this coming Sunday for our Bingo game. We'll start selling at 5pm and first ball will be called for 7pm! Hopefully the big jackpot will still be there for you to try to win! We'll have lots of fun pulltabs, bingo, and more! Also, while you're there, be sure to try out the delicious food at the Bingo Hall's Kitchen!

Come try your luck at a game of Bingo tonight with our Lions Club as we host our weekly bingo game at the Lions Bingo Hall! We will start selling at 5pm and first ball will be called for 7pm.
The blackout game prize will be $1600! We'll have your favorite pull-tabs, Horse raffle, and lots of fun! While you're here, be sure to try some of the delicious food from the Bingo Hall's kitchen!

Proceeds from our games go towards our Lions state projects (Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation, Inc. and Louisiana Lions Camp) and other community service projects that we do.

Today is World Health Day. We, as Lions, focus on several diseases and ailments in the world including blindness, Diabetes, Childhood Cancer, and River Blindness. If you are unsure if you have any of these ailments, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with the appropriate doctors to make sure one of these ailments doesn't impact you.

Our Lions had a hoppin' good time as we helped at the Beeping Easter Egg Hunt for the participants from Lighthouse.
The Easter Eggs beep to help children with blindness find the eggs. They redeemed their eggs for some tasty treats and toys!
Our Lions were so Eggs-cited to be able to attend and see the smiles on the children's faces!
While at the event, our club also made a donation of $250 to the Lighthouse. Thank you Lions!

Recently, our Lions members put together 30 "Cake Kits", an all-in-one kit for making a birthday cake, including cake mix, a can of soda, icing, candles, an aluminum pan and directions. Using the soda allows one to make a moist, delicious cake without eggs or oil/butter. The kits were delivered to the Metro Centers for Community Advocacy for their residents to provide a birthday to children in the program. The Metro Center helps victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault get back on their feet. Thank you Metro Center and thank you Lions!

Lions, Please don't forget about our meeting tonight at 7pm at Delta Lions! We will be voting for Melvin Jones Fellow, Knight of Sight, and Camp Gold Star recipients. We will also discuss the upcoming Lions State Convention, our recent projects, bingo/ fundraising, and lots more!
