We are very excited about our 1st Annual Flag Football Tournament! It was a fantastic event, showcasing incredible talent of boys and girls in the 5th-8th grade levels. 🙌 The competition was fierce, and everyone brought their A game to the field. In the end, fifth grade girls and eighth grade boys were victorious, a truly impressive feat! 🥳 This tournament was a wonderful school event, encouraging teamwork and school spirit. We can't wait to see what next year's tournament brings!

¡Estamos muy entusiasmados con nuestro 1er Torneo Anual de Fútbol de Banderas! Fue un evento fantástico, mostrando un talento increíble de niños y niñas en los niveles de 5º-8º grado. 🙌 La competencia fue feroz, y todos trajeron su juego A al campo. Al final, las niñas de quinto grado y los niños de octavo grado salieron victoriosos, ¡una hazaña realmente impresionante! 🥳 Este torneo fue un maravilloso evento escolar, fomentando el trabajo en equipo y el espíritu escolar. ¡No podemos esperar a ver qué trae el torneo del próximo año!

🎉 We are excited to share that 12 JP Schools have been recognized by the state of Louisiana as Certified Language Immersion Schools for meeting rigorous state standards in providing effective bilingual education! 🌎

Our dual language immersion programs help students develop proficiency in a second language while building strong foundations in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. These programs also foster a deeper appreciation for Louisiana’s rich culture and cultures from around the world.

AC Alexander started their Dual Language Program back in 2019 with PreK. Since then we have added a DL class every new school year. We will be adding a 7th grade Dual Language class for the upcoming 2026-2027 year. Thank you to our teachers that form this team of Dual Language and English Language Development.

AC Alexander comenzó su Programa de Lenguaje Dual en 2019 con la clase preescolar. Desde entonces hemos añadido una clase de DL cada nuevo año escolar. Agregaremos una clase de idioma dual de séptimo grado para el próximo año 2026-2027. Gracias a nuestros profesores que forman este equipo del lenguage dual y ELD (maestros que les ensañan en ingles).
