🐾 Meet Frodo! 🐾

This morning’s Bomb Threat Management class included a special K-9 demonstration featuring Frodo, who was more than happy to show off his skills!

Frodo put his nose to work demonstrating how our four-legged partners assist law enforcement—and we’re pretty sure he stole the show in the process.

Enjoy these photos of Frodo hard at work… and having a little fun along the way!

Multiple KSU Police officers train and instruct in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Pictured are Captain Manns, Officer Phillips, and Officer Barnes, all advanced practitioners.

Defensive tactics training is an important part of keeping both our officers and the KSU community safe.

Congratulations, Officer Sherer!

Please join us in congratulating Officer Sherer, who was nominated for recognition at the 3rd Quarter Cobb County Law Enforcement Association (CCLEA) Luncheon for his outstanding police work.

Officer Sherer’s proactive policing, persistence, and thorough investigation during a recent incident on the KSU campus resulted in the identification of multiple suspects, the recovery of illegal drugs and a stolen fi***rm, and several felony charges.

His professionalism and dedication helped remove individuals engaged in criminal activity from our campus community and contributed to keeping Kennesaw State University a safe place to learn, work, and visit.

We are proud to have Officer Sherer representing the Kennesaw State University Police Department.

Congratulations, Officer Sherer, on this well-deserved recognition!
