Prosser, get ready—States Day is almost here! 🎉

Benton PUD is proud to sponsor the 99th Annual States Day Celebration on Monday, September 7.

Kick off the festivities with the Grand Parade at 10 a.m. in historic downtown Prosser, then keep the fun going at City Park with food, vendors, live music, games and activities for the whole family.

Come celebrate the community that makes Prosser such a special place.

• Monday, September 7: All Benton PUD offices will be closed in observance of Labor Day.

• Wednesday, September 16: The Kennewick customer service lobby will open at 9 a.m., and the Prosser customer service drive-thru will open at 10 a.m.

3:05 p.m. FINAL OUTAGE UPDATE: Power has been restored to all customers affected. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

2:47 p.m. OUTAGE UPDATE: There are currently 399 customers still out of power. Crews are onsite and working to restore power quickly and safely as possible. We will post updates as information becomes available.

August 20, 2:14 p.m. OUTAGE ALERT - An outage occurred at 1:55 p.m. in the Prosser area, affecting approximately 498 customers. Benton PUD is aware of a short circuit on its Distribution power lines and crews have been dispatched. We will post additional information as it becomes available. If you saw or heard anything that could assist our crews in identifying the location or cause of the outage, please call 1-888-582-2176.
