5:48 PM FINAL OUTAGE UPDATE: Power has been restored to all customers affected. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you are still experiencing a power outage, please call 1-888-582-2176.

5:30 PM OUTAGE UPDATE: Crews are standing by while BPA actively patrols their transmission line. Once BPA is done and deems it safe, they will begin the reenergizing process. We will post additional updates as information becomes available. Thank you for your patience.

4:55 PM OUTAGE UPDATE: There are currently 6,006 customers still out of power due to a fire that has caused a short circuit to a Bonneville Power Administration transmission line. We will post additional updates as information becomes available.

4:25 PM OUTAGE UPDATE: Crews continue to patrol the lines to locate the problem. We will post additional updates as information becomes available. Thank you for your patience as crews work as quickly and safely as possible to restore power.

3:55 PM OUTAGE UPDATE: There are currently 6,030 customers still out of power due to a fire that has caused a short circuit to a Bonneville Power Administration transmission line. We will post additional updates as information becomes available.

June 14, 2026, 3:22 PM OUTAGE ALERT: An outage occurred at 2:58 PM in both Prosser and Benton City, affecting 5,146 customers. We are aware of a fire along Old Inland Empire highway and crews have been dispatched to find the cause of the outage. We will post additional updates as information becomes available. If you saw or heard anything that could assist our crews in identifying the location or cause of the outage, please call 1-888-582-2176. Do you love a good yard sale and meeting adoptable pets?

Benton PUD employees are hosting a rummage sale to support local animal care through the Benton-Franklin Humane Society.

This event is open to the public at the Benton PUD Auditorium, 2721 W. 10th Avenue in Kennewick:
- Friday, June 12, 2026, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Saturday, June 13, 2026, 8 a.m. – noon

Shop gently used household goods, clothing, furniture, electronics, décor and more — all donated by Benton PUD employees.
