The Kenosha Police Department Public Safety Cadet Unit #67, formerly Kenosha Police Explorers Post #509, is a program designed for young men and women between the ages of 14 & 20 who are interested in law enforcement. Public Safety Cadet Unit #67, which is sponsored by the Kenosha Police Department, helps to educate its members by giving them working knowledge of procedures, duties, and concepts o

f law enforcement. The program helps young adults to develop self-esteem, leadership qualities, teamwork, professionalism, responsibility, and good work ethics as well as facilitate and strengthen relations between law enforcement and the community.

The Kenosha Public Safety Cadets participated in the WLEEAA State competition, with Kenosha PD team 2 securing 5th place in traffic stop, Adrian Lopez achieving 5th place in the law test, and Hunter Perez winning 3rd place in airsoft.
