Today, June 15, 2026, marks the 20th anniversary of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. The call to action around the world encourages communities to further their knowledge and understanding of abuse, neglect and exploitation of older adults, while working to protect and defend them. A Kenosha County Adult Protective Service worker’s concern is for the health and well-being of the person at risk. Their goal is to strive to help vulnerable adults, such as older adults and adults with a disability, remain as independent as possible. If you think you, or someone you know, may be a victim, call Kenosha County Adult Protective Services (APS) at 262-605-6646. Services are free and confidential. Learn more: http://ow.ly/edJi50F8GAQ
