☔🚗 Rain or shine, our Meals on Wheels volunteers show up. ☔🚗
Today, we’re giving a special shoutout to Laura Freeburn of Piasecki Funeral Home, who proves that a little rain won’t get in the way of making sure our neighbors receive the meals, connection, and care they count on.
For those who receive KAFASI’s Meals on Wheels services, each delivery means so much more than a nutritious, hot meal delivered directly to their home. Our friendly volunteers also provide important social connection for individuals who may feel isolated or lonely, along with a daily well check that helps ensure they are safe and able to continue living independently in their own homes.
And volunteers like Laura make it all possible. 💜
