Everyone can be a philanthropist!

Here’s how: Time. ⏱️Talent. 🎨 Treasure. 🪙

However you choose to give, it matters.
That’s philanthropy. Not all philanthropy looks the same—and it doesn’t have to.

However you show up, you’re making a difference in the Kenosha community.

2025 Grant Recipient Highlight!

KCF funding supports the Kenosha Literacy Council’s Community Connections ELL Civics Program, where 30 adult learners complete 60+ hours of instruction and work to advance at least one educational level.

Students complete vocabulary and “life skills” assessments while practicing skills in the community—visiting the public library to get library cards, going to a bank to learn how to open accounts, practicing using the drive-thru, and touring a pharmacy. They’ve also met first responders and attended a city council meeting as part of civic learning.

“I was proud because I was able to talk to my supervisor in English to solve a problem at work. I could never do that before.” — 2025 Community Connections ELL Civics Class Learner
