โ‰๏ธ Did you know that there is a group of nonprofits, government agencies, and community initiatives focused on how to better serve the community together? And that they've been doing that since 1986?

ESN is a collaborative, community-based effort to coordinate services, share information, attract increased funding, and eliminate duplication and gaps in services for low income individuals and families.

Take a look at their 2025 Annual Report! Available now at www.khds.org/esn.

On this , we quietly reflect on the sacrifice paid by more than a million men and women.

These men and women come from communities just like ours. They were sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, moms, dads, nieces and nephews. While history moves, may we never forget their service and sacrifice.

๐Ÿ’š May is Mental Health Awareness Month! ๐Ÿ’š

For more than 75 years, May has been set aside as a time for our country to talk openly about mental health, to break stigma, share stories, and remind one another that healing is possible. This year's national theme from Mental Health America is "More Good Days, Together," and we couldn't think of a better reflection of what we believe here at KHDS.

We believe change is possible. We believe in meeting people where they are. And we believe that no one (no neighbor, no friend, no family member), should have to walk their journey alone.

Whether it's a crisis call at 2 a.m., a peer support group at Bridges Community Center, a safe bed at the KARE Center, an appointment at Sunrise Clinical Services, or a steady hand from a Crisis Case Manager โ€” KHDS is here, 24/7/365, for the Kenosha community.

This month, we invite you to:
๐Ÿ’š Wear green to show support
๐Ÿ’š Check in on someone you love
๐Ÿ’š Share that it's okay to ask for help
๐Ÿ’š Remember that recovery is real

If you or someone you know needs support, our Crisis Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A real person always answers. Call us anytime: 262-657-7188

Let's make more good days, together. ๐Ÿ’š
