Now we need your help!!!!!!! The library at Emily G. Petty Primary School is coming right along. Please see the images over the past six months right here on our page to see how we have utterly transformed this space to a student centered library!!!

NOW... we need your HELP!!!!

There are several more pieces to this puzzle that require real funding:
*Chairs, chairs and more chairs. 🪑🪑🪑
*Update Electrical for better lighting and more plugs for our computer lab.
*Plexiglass for the window frames. Currently there is NO GLASS in front of the hurricane shutters... so bugs and air can pass through at will.
*Materials and Labor for our new table and desk.
*Polyurethane for all desk/tables.

Thank you Graham Walker: Carpentry Instructor at Central Eleuthera High School!!!!! He has crafted our Librarian Desk and Student Work Table!!!! SO COOL!!!

Making some great progress at our Emily G. Petty Primary School Library. Got the AC cleaned up thanks to AC Tech extraordinaire Ziggy White! Then got by with a little help from my friends Christina and Susan! Couldn't do this without this super support!!!! We have catalogued 1250 books so far!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!

What a difference a couple of months make!!! We are hard at work in the Emily G. Petty Primary School Library!
Freedom to Read, Inc., The Eleuthera Bible Training Center and volunteer extraordinaire Dona Banks... have made incredible strides in bringing this library site to life!

The Emily G. Petty Primary School Library has moved up on our priority list! We began this project Fall 2022 with discussions (Bob Bob, Tanya Mcphee-Pinder, Follett Software, Follett Content) and book delivery. Developed a design plan for shelving and space. Dona Banks and her generous team from Georgia donated supplies and volunteers to start the process of building the shelving!
This is going to be an incredible library for our primary students in Governor's Harbour!
