BIG SPLASH ALERT

The Columbus Area Aquatic Center is excited to officially welcome Jack Petrie as our new Pool Manager!

Jack has been with the City of Columbus for 6 years, and this season he has truly dove headfirst into his new responsibilities.

From passing his LGI (Lifeguard Instructor) certification to working hand-in-hand with Carrico Aquatics, Jack has been putting in the work to make this summer the best!

As we prepare for opening day, he’s been getting familiar with our systems and has already built a great rapport with staff. He brings a positive attitude and strong leadership to the pool team, and we’re excited for all he’ll bring to the season ahead.

If you see Jack at the pool this season, be sure to give him a warm welcome. We’re lucky to have him leading the way and helping keep our pool safe, fun, and full of community spirit.

Here’s to a great summer at the pool!

USE THIS ONE - CORRECTLY NUMBERED GOATS :)

Goat Naming Contest – Round 2 is Here!

The votes are in, and Round 2 has officially begun in our bracket-style Goat Naming Contest!

These are all the names that were submitted for each goat — minus a few duplicate entries — and now it’s time to help us narrow them down.

The FIVE most popular names for each goat will move on to the next round as we get closer to crowning the winning names!

Cast your votes, cheer on your favorites, and keep the fun going. Every vote counts!

A big thank you to the Columbus Historical Society for sponsoring the City of Columbus Arbor Day tree!

This year’s tree has been planted at Warner Park Playground, helping enhance one of our community’s favorite gathering spaces for families and children.

We truly appreciate the Historical Society’s support and commitment to preserving and beautifying our community. Their contribution is helping make our Arbor Day celebration even more meaningful, and the tree will be enjoyed for generations to come.

Thank you again for helping our community grow!
